Cāndrasūtra

The Cāndrasūtra (aka Cāndravyākaraṇa) is a foundational text of the Cāndra grammatical school, a non-Pāṇinian grammatical school in the Sanskrit grammatical tradition (vyākaraṇa). The Cāndrasūtra is believed to be based on Pāṇini's Aṣṭādhyāyī, with changes such as the incorporation of a vārttika of Kātyāyana as a sūtra into the Cāndrasūtra. The author of the Cāndrasūtra is Candragomin.
